Dr Naznin Choudhury graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences. Following this, Naz went on to specialise in microbiology by pursuing an MSc in Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham. She then completed her PhD in Molecular Microbiology at the University of Sheffield, studying how the staphylococcal stringent response is important for pathogenesis in a zebrafish embryo systemic infection model.
Naz joined Micropathology in July 2023 as Postdoctoral Scientist in the microbiology team.
