With over 40 years’ experience within information technology, Ian has undertaken various roles during his time in IT. Initially working as a business analyst, before moving into a test analyst role. Ian rapidly progressed from test analyst, to test team leader, to test manager, and then to software project manager for one of the UK’s major banking groups, specialising in workflow and image technologies.
Upon leaving the bank Ian joined a market leading occupational health software company as overall test and software manager: responsible for product design, project and software management, as well as all aspects of quality assurance. Ultimately, Ian took on the specific role of quality assurance manager and, as an ISEB qualified quality assurance specialist, and working to ISO27001 specifications, ensured the quality of software releases to both the public and private sector, including a number of blue light customers.
Ian joined Micropathology Ltd in 2021 and is currently responsible for software quality assurance.
