Annie graduated from Warwick University in 2018 with an honours degree in Biomedical Science with Intercalated Year in Industry. Her dissertation looked at defining tRNA synthetase protein structures of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, in order for the development of novel drug targets. Her intercalated year was undertaken at Micropathology from 2016-17, where Annie worked as a laboratory assistant, with a main role in performing the routine extraction of samples.
After graduating, Annie returned to Micropathology as a postgraduate scientist.
