Miss Amelia Brett BSc (Hons)

Postgraduate Scientist

Amelia graduated from the University of Warwick in 2017 with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. In her dissertation, she studied the role that bacteriophages play in the proliferation of antibiotic resistance genes found in bovine manure, identifying novel phages and demonstrating the existence of high frequencies of antibiotic resistance genes in the viral metagenome.

Amelia joined the sequencing team at Micropathology as a full time postgraduate scientist in August 2017.
