April 2018: New test for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and new and updated information on our website.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a multidrug resistant, opportunistic pathogen known to cause eye infection associated with contact lens usage and exposure to inadequately chlorinated hot tubs or swimming pools; nosocomial urinary tract infection; and lung infection in people with cystic fibrosis.
