La storia dell'azienda
Micropathology Srl è stato creato in
Febbraio del 1995 dal Dott. David Burnett e dal Dott. Colin Fink come
un' azienda indipendente che si è specializza in ricerche
riguardando le malattie contagiose e le risposte degli ospiti
all'infezione. Questa ricerca richiedeva lo svillupo di metodi rapidi
per la diagnosi che possono essere applicati sia alla malattia umana
che a quella veterinaria. La impresa si moveva a locali più
grandi all' interno del Parco di Scienza dell'università di
Warwick (University of Warwick Science Park) nel mese di maggio nel
1999. I laboratori e l'ufficio più grandi hanno permesso sia
un aumento nel numero del personale che l'espansione della ricerca.
L'associazione fra l'azienda ed i colleghi esperti
dell'università si ha svillupata ed ha sopportato i progetti
di ricerca con i vari reparti dell' università. La impresa ha
sviluppato una collaborazione dinamica fra gli interessi commerciali
e quegli academici.
